Health & Wellness

Please review this information. It’s very important to me that you know about the resources available to help you and your peers.

If you or someone you know needs assistance, you’re encouraged to contact Chantelle Tickles, Associate Director of Student Affairs, at (706) 542-5167 or Chantelle.Tickles@uga.edu. You may also contact Student Care and Outreach in the Division of Student Affairs at (706) 542-7774 or visit https://sco.uga.edu. They will help you navigate any difficult circumstances you may be facing by connecting you with the appropriate resources or services.

The law school has a web page highlighting numerous health and wellness resources, including several resources specific to law students or the legal profession. UGA has several resources for a student seeking mental health services or crisis support. If you need help managing stress, anxiety, relationships, or other concerns, please visit BeWellUGA for a list of free workshops, classes, mentoring, and health coaching led by licensed clinicians and health educators in the University Health Center. Additional resources can be accessed through the UGA App.

Accessibility

I share UGA’s dedication to facilitating equal access for students with disabilities and to cultivating a campus culture that’s responsive to students’ needs. Students seeking accommodations or experiencing hardship should contact Chantelle Tickles (Chantelle.Tickles@uga.edu).
